TynanGroup recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Newport Beach Country Club with owner’s Eagle Four Partners and Pacific Hospitality Group.
Members and their guests can now enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor areas, al fresco dining, along with numerous fireplaces and fire pits for cooler evenings. Its California coastal Craftsman-style is uniquely suited to the Southern California beach climate and lifestyle.
The Clubhouse, designed by Melzer, Deckert, & Ruder Architects, is an architectural icon in Newport Beach, and one that elevates the property to one of the premier private golf clubs in North America. The Newport Beach Country Club is also home of the PGA Champions Tour Toshiba Classic which continued to take place during construction.
The upper level includes the indoor/outdoor Seahorse Bar, dining room, private dining, 4,000sqft Newport Ballroom and flexible-space Ocean Boardroom. The ground level houses a golf shop, exercise and fitness center, men’s and women’s grills, locker rooms, and extensive outdoor patio dining.
Wood details evoke the timeless notion of hand-craftsmanship, while natural-looking materials tie the building to the earth, all interiors designed by Kay Lang + Associates. Two new swimming pools, a lap pool and a children’s pool are included on the grounds.
