The Oceanside Beachfront Resort project consisted of two hotels: Mission Pacific and The Seabird. The dual project marked the largest oceanfront development in San Diego County since the Hotel del Coronado. TynanGroup provided expertise in strategic planning, construction management, design development, and cost management.
The Seabird features an expansive pool deck that overlooks the Pacific and immerses guests in a classic California coastal experience. Mission Pacific Resort features a rooftop bar, immediate beach access and a combined 387 rooms, most with water-facing views. The Mission Pacific project included the historic renovation of the Graves House, featured in 1986’s Top Gun. We managed the complex process of relocating the house, restoring it to its original 1887 design, and moving the house back to the project site after renovation.
