TynanGroup oversaw the successful development of The Rosewood Miramar Beach, a luxury oceanfront resort on the coast of Montecito. The project transformed a 16-acre site that was previously home to the original Miramar Beach Hotel, the first resort hotel in the city of Montecito that dated back to the 1880s.

Operated by Rosewood Hotels and Resorts, the resort property features 161 guestrooms in the form of one-story cottages and bungalows, an oceanfront bar and Michelin restaurant, two swimming pools, an event space, spa, fitness center, beach club, and 6,000 square-foot ballroom.

As project and construction managers, we provided ongoing oversight throughout construction and coordinated parking and transportation in a private neighborhood for up to 800 workers. Since it’s opening in 2018, the Rosewood Miramar has earned numerous accolades from Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards, securing spots on the list of the 100 Best Hotels in the World, the 15 Best Resorts in the Continental U.S, and the 15 Best Resorts in California.
