The brand-new Public Safety Facility graces an expansive twenty acres of Gila River Indian Community land, elegantly positioned at the prestigious Northwest intersection of Stotonic Road and Santan Road. This visionary Public Safety Facility is being meticulously crafted as a cutting-edge, 43,250 square foot establishment destined to accommodate the dedicated personnel of the GRIC Fire and Police Departments, alongside the esteemed Emergency Medical Services Department.

Functioning as the vigilant first responders for the District #4 Community and the burgeoning Santan Mountain Development Area, this facility is a beacon of modernity and readiness.

The GRIC Public Safety Facility will be the fourth GRIC project utilizing the 105(l) lease program between the Gila River Indian Community and the Department of the Interior.  This lease is executed as part of the Department of the Interior’s section 105(l) leasing program contained in the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (ISDEAA).
